Visions and Research

The boundaries of photography are pushed outwards by the innovative, experimental, and often radical perspectives of creators who use photography not merely as a medium but also as writing and investigation. Nino Migliori, Francesco Radino, Mimmo Jodice, Maurizio Galimberti, Mario Cresci, Franco Fontana, Franco Vaccari, and Carlo Orsi have turned the camera into a tool for poetic, conceptual, and formal investigation. These documentaries describe different paths but are connected by a desire to explore the visible beyond appearances, among urban shapes, chromatic abstraction, fragments of time, and reflections about the very language of the image.

Promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute in London, this showcase was conceived by Audiovisiva.
